Antonio was so excited to stop having fun to take matchy match character pics! NOT!
Aulani Photopass worked out great. Sometimes they gave us a card to have scanned like the old days. Sometimes they gave you a wristband with a QR code to scan later. This one was a card. You'll notice Aria poses as a cat a lot. Her favorite phrase right now is, "I forgotted, I'm a cat." She usually give us her cat name which could be Figaro, Bullseye, Slinky Dog, Twilight Sparkles, or anything else she dreams up!
After we met Daisy we went to the Auntie’s to finish the kids club registration. Antonio was so mad and did NOT want to go. He said it was going to be lame. They let us walk around inside. They were serving a snack and offered our kids one. The plan was to check it out, go eat, then bring them back. However the kids didn’t want to leave. Every CM that saw Antonio told him about the upcoming tween game night that was starting at 7:30. Cool! We told the kids we would go scope out food, then come get them to eat, then they could go back.
Q and I couldn’t believe we were all alone and went on a search for food. We ended up at Off the Hook which was an outdoor bar with tables near the pool. We ordered fish tacos to split and a chicken strip kids meal to go. We also tried two sangrias. A mango one and another not as good one. I decided while we were there, that there was no point in getting the kids to eat then having them go back. They could just eat afterwards in the room.
The food was delicious. Plenty to share. I sent Q to get in line for Goofy before he left and I sprang the kids from kiddie jail. They were having so much fun. Antonio loved the tween night activity and was already talking about going back tomorrow. I knew he would love it. I told him that I need him to just trust me when I tell him what we are doing. We made it over to Quentin who was in the line for Goofy. This was the non-DVC line. We were the last ones to go in.
Up to the room after that. The kids ate and then fell right asleep. It was past 2 am at home. They had to be exhausted.
